What you need to know...
All cats, kittens, dogs and puppies are vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas, etc. as needed. You will receive a health record to take with you when you adopt. Please bring a leash for puppies and dogs and some sort of carrier for kittens and cats.
Cats (mature): $65
Dogs/puppies (neutered/spayed): At staff discretion - please call
Small animals (rabbits, mice, rats, etc.): At staff discretion - please call
*Kitten adoptions include the cost to spay/neuter at a local vet to be arranged through us. It is a prerequisite to book the spay/neuter in order to adopt and we will not adopt any kittens out without confirmation of spaying/neutering. If you are coming from out of town to adopt and will not be able to do the spay/neuter locally, please call in advance to discuss our spay/neuter requirement and cost.
At this time, we accept CASH OR CHEQUE ONLY. Please ensure you have adequate cash when you come to adopt
“Seniors for Seniors” Program
We know that older cats often have a hard time finding new homes, and so the LHS has developed a program to match older cats with seniors in the community. Seniors are eligible to adopt a senior cat (found in the “Older Cats” album) for free! We even have incentives for seniors who would like to adopt a cat but have financial limitations - these incentives can be discussed at the time of adoption. These older cats make great companions and still have lots of love to give to their new owners.
